Canyon Mountain Center is located in the beautiful John Day Valley in eastern Oregon, approximately 125 miles east of Bend. This lush high-desert valley is surrounded by the the Aldrich and Strawberry Mountain ranges and is a nature-lover's paradise.
Our Focus at Canyon Mountain Center:
People exploring complementary health options in Grant County, Oregon can now turn to Canyon Mountain Center in John Day. We have opened this non-denominational well-being and meditation center to offer complementary and alternative health possibilities for those wishing to expand their focus on health and wellness.
The Center has a large classroom that can accommodate up to 25 people and a meditation room with space for about 20. Currently free meditations are held from 5:30 p.m. - 6:10 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with novice instruction starting at 5:15.
Our focus is to promote healthy lifestyle choices by providing stress reduction tenhniques, yoga, meditation and informational classes and meetings. We offer this free space for classes and meetings of a related nature.
